In short: We collect only what we need to run orders, support, and keep the store safe from fraud. We never sell your data. You can edit or delete your account, and you can contact us about your data at any time.

Itmaad ("we", "us") sells electronics online with delivery across Pakistan. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Account details: your name and email. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google name, email and profile photo.
Order details: delivery name, phone number, email, address, city, postal code, delivery notes, the items you order, the payment method and the transaction ID you enter.
Saved details: addresses and wishlist items you choose to save.
Messages and reviews: what you send through the contact form, WhatsApp or post as a review.
AI assistant: the questions you type or say. If you use voice input, your browser or device may process your speech through its own speech service.
Technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and error logs. For the AI assistant we keep only a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address to limit daily use and stop abuse.
On your device: your cart, recently viewed products, preferences and sign-in session are stored in your browser's local storage. We do not use advertising cookies.

We do not collect or store card numbers. Bank and wallet transfers are made in your own banking or wallet app, and we only see the transaction ID and payment proof you give us.

Why we use it

To process, deliver and support your orders, including calling or messaging you to confirm and deliver them.
To check bank and wallet payments against orders.
To manage your account, addresses and wishlist.
To answer your messages and moderate reviews.
To prevent fraud and abuse, such as fake orders, false payment proof, repeated refused parcels, voucher abuse and attacks on the site. This may include keeping a record of such orders and blocking the account, phone number or address involved.
To meet our legal, tax and accounting duties and to handle disputes and claims.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share only what is needed with:

Couriers: your name, phone number and address, so they can deliver.
Hosting and database providers: Vercel and Supabase, who store and run the site on our behalf.
Google: for Google sign-in and, when you use the AI assistant, to process your question and a list of products (Google Gemini).
Banks and wallet providers: only what appears in the transfer itself.
Authorities and professional advisers: where the law requires, to answer a lawful request, to report suspected fraud or crime, or to protect our rights, customers or staff.

Some of these providers keep data on servers outside Pakistan. By using the site you understand your data may be processed in other countries.

How long we keep it

We keep account data while your account is open. We keep order and payment records for as long as needed to complete orders, handle returns and warranty, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and meet legal and accounting duties. Fraud-prevention records may be kept longer. After that we delete or anonymise the data.

Your choices and rights

Edit your name, password and saved addresses from your profile at any time.
Delete your account from the Account tab in your profile. This removes your account, saved addresses and wishlist. We may keep limited records, such as backups or records we need for legal, security, dispute or fraud-prevention reasons.
Clear your cart and local data by clearing your browser's site data.
Ask us for a copy, correction or deletion of your data, or object to how we use it, by contacting us below. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may refuse a request where the law lets us or requires us to keep the data.

Keeping your data safe

We use encrypted connections, access controls and admin sign-in checks. No website can promise perfect security. Please use a strong, unique password, do not share it, and log out on shared devices. If we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.

Links and other sites

The site may link to other websites, such as WhatsApp or Google. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Children

Our store is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Please check it from time to time.
